Good morning, America. It's January 11th, 2016. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop every morning for more headlines from around the world.

Today is a big day in the world of track and field. Later today, the former WADA president Dick Pound will release the second part of his investigation into the Russian doping scandal. Someone leaked the report early to the AP, and it contains some scandalous revelations. To wit:

"In addition to the deal-making friendship forged between Putin and then-IAAF president Lamine Diack, the report details a sudden increase from $6 million to $25 million for Russian rights to televise the 2013 worlds provided by a Russian bank, and also tells of a lawyer who was handpicked by Diack to handle Russian cases even though he had little experience with anti-doping measures.

"It concludes there was no way members of the IAAF Council, which included current president Sebastian Coe, could have been unaware of the extent of doping and non-enforcement of the rules in track."

FIFA fined a bunch of South and Central American football federations for homosexual chants by their fans.

FIFA has also banned Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid from signing new players for 2 years! They've also been fined several hundred thousand euros each. The bans have to do with "breaches relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18."

Arsenal signed midfielder Mohamed Elneny from Basel for 10 million euros. The Guardian has the lowdown on the kind of player he is.

Speaking of Arsenal, the club tied Liverpool 3-3 in a thrilling Premier League encounter.

Roberto Firmino scored two goals in the match, the second one was a real peach.

Other notable results include Leicester City's 1-0 defeat of Tottenham and Everton's 0-0 draw with Man City. Chelsea also failed to beat West Brom. Those two tied 2-2.
