These supercows are genetically bred to fetch six figures at auction

Breeding dairy cows used to be a romantic affair — farmers would put two of their favorite cows in a pen together and hope for the best. If you were lucky, your best cows would produce one calf each year. But today, thanks to advances in technology, a small group of dairy farmers can get more than ten calves from each of their favorite cows every month. And they’ve been quietly competing to produce the country’s most genetically elite cows.
