The woman who went viral after being photographed flipping off Trump's motorcade on her bike has been fired, Huffington Post reports.On Saturday, October 28, Juli Briskman was out for a ride in Sterling, Virginia, when the presidential motorcade passed by. Recognizing that it was Trump leaving the Trump National Golf Course, she gave the line of cars the one-finger salute."I'm thinking, DACA recipients are getting kicked out," Briskman explained to HuffPost, "only one-third of Puerto Rico has power… He's at the damn golf course again."Briskman reportedly flipped Trump's car off "a number of times" before riding away—not knowing that a Getty photographer had captured the gesture in a photo. The image quickly made the rounds on social media over the weekend, and Briskman ended up making the photo her profile picture on Facebook and Twitter.The 50-year-old, who reportedly worked as a marketing executive at government contractor Akima LLC, decided to inform her bosses about her new internet celebrity last Monday. By Tuesday, her bosses called her into a meeting—not to compliment her one-handed biking abilities or offer her advice on how to cash in on her viral fame—to fire her."They said, 'We're separating from you,'" Briskman told HuffPost. "Basically, you cannot have 'lewd' or 'obscene' things in your social media. So they were calling flipping him off 'obscene.'"According to Briskman, her bosses at Akima said that the photo could put their government contracts at risk."I wasn't even at work when I did that," Briskman went on to say in a Washington Post interview. "But they told me I violated the code of conduct policy."Briskman, a mother of two, is now out of a job, but she's contacted the ACLU about her case and doesn't regret becoming an accidental anti-Trump meme."I'm angry about where our country is right now. I am appalled. This was an opportunity for me to say something," she told HuffPost. "I'd do it again."
