The Lil Wayne and Ace Hood Partnership Was Impressively Outchea

"'Member when Moms couldn't afford Pampers? / Now she tryin' to avoid cameras."

Day 272: "We Outchea" feat. Lil Wayne – Ace Hood, Trials and Tribulations, 2013

Much as Ace Hood's role in music is "generically good rapper," Lil Wayne's role in this video is "generically Lil Wayne in a video." This isn't the first time—and it probably won't be the last—that I've written about the number of Lil Wayne videos that involve him in abandoned warehouses, often surrounded by barrels full of fire. Similarly, if you ever want to know when a Lil Wayne video was filmed, all you have to do is check if he's wearing some sort of skating related clothing. If so, it was probably 2012 or later!

Nonetheless, while this video is nothing to write home about, shout out to Wayne for cranking out multiple hits with Ace Hood, a partnership that honestly makes more sense than it should. Also, these lines are pretty great:

'Member when Moms couldn't afford Pampers?
Now she tryin' to avoid cameras
All I do is count my blessings
Weezy F for 'fortunate'
I came up from that bottom
Now I'm richer than chocolate
