Chicago Punks White Mystery Are Making a Feature Film

The brother-and-sister duo released the trailer today.

Brother and sister duo White Mystery are Chicago royalty, and for good reason—they've been consistently releasing great albums and putting on sweaty, cathartic shows for years. That would be enough to solidify their spot in the punk pantheon, but apparently the band isn't satisfied. Guitarist Alex White and her brother, Francis, just completed a feature-length film, called That Was Awesome, and they're premiering it later this month at the Chicago International Music and Movies Fest. The film's trailer dropped today and it looks like a denim fever dream. Give it a watch.
