Ordering a glass of vinegary pinot grigio at 4 AM in Gatwick's Terminal 2 is as much of an airport tradition as wearing five layers to save space in your hand luggage and spending a small fortune on mini shower gel bottles.But running to your gate in a Prosecco-induced haze could soon be a thing of the past.According to a report published yesterday in The Times of India, airports across the country have started "rationing" alcohol in pre-flight lounges after concerns over rowdy behaviour.Spoil sports.Air India was the first airline to introduce a booze limit for passengers in the business and first class lounge at Delhi airport. Flyers are now restricted to three 45-millilitre servings of spirits, two 200-millilitre glasses of wine, or three pints of beer. Those travelling on domestic flights will not be served any alcohol.Similar alcohol limitations have been put in place at Mumbai International Airport, with plans to extend them to airport lounges in Chennai and Kolkata, too.
