If You See Canberra/NYC Post-Punk Trio PTSD, Say Something

Featuring members of Danger Beach, TV Colours, and Haram, the band delve into a gloomier post punk sound.

Lachlan Thomas, Carey Paterson and James Stuart are PTSD. Though they are all from Canberra, the band formed when they found themselves based in New York City.

While members have been/are in acts such as Danger Beach, TV Colours and Haram, PTSD takes on a darker and gloomier post punk sound. Their only New York show, so far, included covers by the UK Subs and Magazine and their new demo If You See Something, Say Something contains the track "Line of Fire" that sounds like it wouldn't be out of place on an early Hunters and Collectors album.

Recorded in New York  City, the demo contains four stuttering post punk songs that fall in line somewhere between the dark pop of Lachlan's Danger Beach and the punk of James' Haram.

They play their first hometown show next week alongside Sinkhead, Wet Dream and Earache.
