We've decided to speed up the process and give you the only biscuit recipe you'll ever need. Hint: as any Southern grandma will tell you, the secret to the tenderest biscuits is in the lard.

Poach an egg, cut the cheese, and add some crispy sausage or bacon in the middle of your biscuit to make homemade brunch, because showing up to a restaurant is too much to ask of one human today.
