Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier has reportedly been arrested for assaulting a police officer, with the incident taking place outside a Parisian nightclub.Police sources told AFP that the 23-year-old is alleged to have "insulted and hit a police officer" after a night out in the French capital. PSG have confirmed that the youngster is in custody, but made no further comment.According to a legal source, Aurier "elbowed" a policeman in the throat. He was arrested at around 5:50am local time, and held at a police station near the Champs Elysees on a charge of "deliberate violence against a person of public authority."This comes just over three months after Aurier was suspended by PSG for making homophobic comments about manager Laurent Blanc on Periscope. In a Q&A on the live video streaming app, he described Blanc as "une fiotte" ("a faggot") and insulted several high-profile teammates including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Salvatore Sirigu. He apologised for that particular controversy, saying that he had made a "stupid mistake." It is unclear whether he will face prosecution for this latest incident.
