As one of K-Pop's biggest stars is poised for her crossover, she teams up with Diplo and the world makes sense.

As Seoul Fashion Week wraps up, the festivities this year included one of South Korea's many awards shows, the Style Icon Awards. Equal parts music, fashion, and pop culture, the awards ceremony celebrates the winners of a yearly online poll, and features live performances from several of South Korea's hottest musicians, like 2NE1 frontwoman CL. This year, a familiar face outside of Korea joined the stage: Diplo.

CL and Diplo have worked together before, featuring alongside fellow K-Popper G-Dragon on Skrillex's "Dirty Vibe," from Recess. Last night, the spunky 2NE1 frontwoman smashed out renditions of Diplo's track "Revolution" and "Dirty Vibe" with aplomb. The performance is a litle awkward at times, but that's simply because no TV show in history has been able to make DJing less than five songs look interesting without involving a scratch routine. (This is to say nothing about a DJ performance where most of the audience is seated.) Still, the chemistry between the two is undeinable, leaving only one question at the end of the set: when can we get more of this?
