Hot Since 82 is a Leeds-based DJ and producer who is living up to his name—he just had a year that was hot-as-hell. He released his debut masterpiece Little Black Book which is part-album, part-mix compilation and remix package; it's a full-on crate digging expedition through the many corners of floor-filling groove-laden house music. Hot Since (we're on nickname basis, I think) was also chosen by Pete-Pete-Pete Tong to throw down a stellar essential mix that solidified his place as one of dance music's elite all-stars. He just finished up a North American club tour and was nice enough to snap some pics and say some words on the many highlights and memorable moments that a world-class DJ encounters while on the road. Damn, this dude's life looks pretty rad. I'm jealous.

Touch down in NYC. First stop? A slice of pizza!

There was an amazing NYC view from the Evolution Radio headquarters.

Then, on to a meeting with the label and this is on the wall: Full Clip: A Decade of Gangstarr. Classic!

Later that night we went to see an intimate private Emeli Sandè concert. It was a great last minute gig; she sounded amazing!

We had a great show at Bijou in Boston—such a cool city!

I met this dog Carrier in Brooklyn the morning after playing at Output. Pedigree Chum!

Chilling in Williamsburg. What a beautiful day!

I absolutely love Toronto. Footwork is such a great club. Five hour DJ special!

I went to Sirius XM in NYC for an interview!

Touch down in Detroit and the promoters greet me with a bag of Yorkshire Tea. Spot on!

On the way to Flash in DC; we're picked up at the airport by Leo the dog. He farted on me all the way from Baltimore to Washington DC. Smashed it!

Dinner in DC and the Darlington House have prepared a custom Hot Since 82 menu. Now that's a first! It was accompanied by a bottle of whisky and some cupcakes. Shout outs to Mr. Luber!

Here's dinner with the Spybar crew in Chicago. Dino is the man and the food was great even though I did get an allergic reaction. Lots of sake too!

Green Velvet performed "Bigger Than Prince" with me live in his hometown. What an amazing moment. Biggup Chi-Town!

Eating Poutine in Montreal after an amazing show at Stereo. I finished playing at 9AM and it was crazy in the club. Canadians are wild, I love it!

Stumbled across a record store (shop) in San Francisco.

Went to see the legendary Dave Smith in his hometown! This guy invented MIDI!!!!!!

Stopped off at Mrs. Doubtfire's house, before heading back to the hotel, to watch Mrs.Doubtfire :-)
