Eli Manning threw up a jump ball to Odell Beckham, Jr. in the end zone that hung up in the air too long. Beckham tried to make a play and tip the ball, but that only gave Earl Thomas a chance to get underneath it and make a big play. He caught it and ran out of the end zone to the Seattle 42-yard line.
The Seahawks quickly drove the 58 yards in three minutes and finished off the drive with a three-yard Marshawn Lynch run to take a 24-17 lead to start the fourth quarter. The Giants, who couldn't get anything going on their next drive, punted after a three-and-out, and Lynch scored again for his fourth touchdown on the day and a 31-17 lead. This game slipped away from them very quickly.
