2017 has been a career-defining year for GoldLink, whose album At What Cost perfectly captures the essence of his native DMV area. The most memorable piece of that project and this year has been "Crew," Link's smooth Brent Faiyaz and Shy Glizzy-featuring single which is now the number one song on urban radio. Last night the three artists performed the song on The Tonight Show as GoldLink added a twist to his bit by rapping into a telephone receiver-looking microphone.

"Crew" has put GoldLink on the radar of listeners he'd never gotten the attention of and it feels like it could be the beginning of something remarkable, especially considering that not many DMV-groomed artists outside of Wale have made it to the late nigh television circuit. Watch the performance above.
