A 37-year-old bricklayer from Kent bent and severely bruised his penis after having sex with his 38-year-old partner. The bout of doggy style sex, Steven Horden said, "was a little bit too frantic. I think we overdid a little. The doctors told me that only time will tell if I can still have children."

The couple had been trying to conceive, when Horden's penis "snapped", tearing its internal tissue and causing swelling and bruising. The photos are honestly too horrifying to include here but were published online by the likes of Metro and The Sun.

Though the story made tabloid headlines over the weekend, it turns out Steven broke his penis last month. After four days in hospital, he's now almost completed a recommended six-week sex ban recovery period.

A man has been sentenced to eight months in prison, after he was found guilty of threatening a London city councillor who chaired the committee that authorised the closure of club Fabric.

Sebastian Clark-Darby worked in IT, and emailed Islington councillor Flora Williamson at 10AM, the morning Fabric's closure was announced. His email had the subject line "closure of Fabric" and contained the sentence: "Please note you have received official death threat."

Clark-Darby was serving a suspended drug-related sentence when he sent the threatening email, and was thus handed prison time by the judge.

On Saturday afternoon, a group of people held a White Lives Matter rally, marching through the streets of Margate surrounded by a police cordon.

The rally was met with a counter-protest, where residents shouted, "say it loud and say it clear, refugees are welcome here" and other opposing the White Lives Matter chanted "Nazi scum, off our streets".

Police reportedly made two arrests, of a 43-year-old man from Margate and a 31-year-old man from Kent, but otherwise police deemed the day a peaceful one. Local press named this the first White Lives Matter protest to cross over from the US to the UK.

Producer, recording artist and general social media sensation DJ Khaled shared the birth of his son with his followers on Snapchat, streaming video clips from beside his fiancee Nicole Tuck's hospital bed.

Khaled Snapchatted for hours, speaking to the doctor and to his followers, throughout the birth. Early on, he captioned a video with "I always thought as soon as the water breaks and the queen gets contractions then the icon comes out," before adding there are "no short cuts to greatness".

He and Tuck's son was born in the early hours of Sunday morning – but his Snap followers already knew that.
