Chicago's King L is one of those guys who, improbably, keeps getting better. "Right Now" is off his upcoming Drilluminati III mixtape, and just so happened to be featured on the latest installment of Music to Fakeshore Driveby, our monthly collaboration with the Chicago hip-hop blog Fakeshore Drive in which Andrew Barber and Ty Howard from the site highlight the latest and greatest in Chicago rap. Said Howard of the track yesterday:

Have you ever wondered what would happen if King Louie rapped over a flip of Foxes’ “Youth”? Probably not. If you have, imagine no longer. Such a track exists, and it’s another solid effort from Louie. If you haven’t heard “Right Now,” change that now—not now, but right now.

The video is a simple affair, finding L smoking, emoting, and hanging with his peoples. If you've ever wondered what Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" video might look like in the hands of the Drilluminati, well, here's your answer.
