We Challenged Dua Lipa to Nail The "Smoke Weed Everyday" Line from That Dr. Dre Song

The next episode of "The Next Episode".

Last summer, you may recall, a young lad by the name of Rob Whisman broke the proverbial internet by nailing the "smoke weed every day" line from Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode", and in doing so accomplished something no other human had been able to manage. The track's iconic closing four words, coming in after an indefinable pause, the kind of pause that will strike just before the world ends, has eluded fans of Dre and the devil's lettuce alike for 17 years. It is the hip-hop stan's Everest, The Great Wall of China of bars – really fucking difficult, basically.

As Rob told us in an interview, it was a task that took a lot of preparation: lots of meditation, vigorous timekeeping exercises, and a diet steeped in vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids to ensure optimal brain dexterity, etc. The strain is palpable in his video – the concentration, the sweat, the fear and subsequent victory. "It was a moment of sheer perfection," we noted, back in 2015, "One that may never happen again in our lifetimes."

We couldn't have been more wrong.

Noisey recently challenged pop-star-in-the-making Dua Lipa to pull off the track's ending and she did it on the first try, in a Yeezy shirt no less. Dua looks casual – relaxed, even – and concludes the performance, which takes place in a room seemingly full of friends and distractions, with a wink. LIKE IT WAS AS EASY AS THAT.

Marvel below and read our interview with Dua here.
