“Her Hands”, the second video for Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders album Playmates, features Ladder and actor Hamish Michael (Crownies, The Great Gatsby) playing a game of cat and mouse through the grand 19th century neo-Classical corridors of Sydney Town Hall.Michael is kit out in a dress and Ladder at one point like Avalon era Bryan Ferry.Directed by Steve Rogers who won an Australian Director’s Guild Award for another Jack Ladder video, “Cold Feet”, “Her Hands” captures the marble, mahogany and mistrust that helps set the drama of the song.Playmates produced by Kim Moyes (The Presets, Kirin J Callinan, Beni), mixed by David Wrench (FKA Twigs, Bat For Lashes) and mastered by Mandy Parnell (The xx, The Knife) is available in Australia now through Inertia and will be released ini North America, Latin America and Japan in February on Fat Possum .
