Uniqlo’s UT line is ten years old this year and to celebrate they’re throwing the biggest party ever and taking over a pop-up shop on Kingsland Road for a fortnight.Because we’re not one to miss the biggest blowout of the year, Uniqlo and VICE have partnered to throw a series of art and music themed events at The Hoxton Gallery, which will include special performances from Swim Deep, Wolf Alice and Fred Macpherson. DJs providing a slew of tunes for you to enjoy while you punish your liver with all the free drinks that Tiger Beer (who are also running a competition on their Twitter to win tickets) will be providing.If that isn’t enough there’s also going to be private screenings, art workshops and a live recording session with Charlie Boyer and the Voyeurs. Oh, and Noisey DJs are going to be there to. Plus, lots of free drinks. We mentioned those, right?The week concludes on Saturday 27th April with the UNIQLO Record Fair, giving everyone who missed Record Store Day the chance to shop for some of their favourite records.To provide foundation for what’s essentially a two-week festival of art, music, clothing (and alcohol!), Uniqlo have launched UT Camera, a smartphone video app that turns two-second looped video portraits into an animation. Dowload it from the app store and share your video with the world on the official UT website, Facebook and Twitter. If you’re smart, then you can use the hashtags #UT_LDN and #UT_CAMERA for the chance to win lots and lots of goodies among the harem of free booze that we’ll be giving out on the night.If you don’t drink enough to warrant strapping yourself into bed the following day, then the UT pop-up LON store will also be open daily from the 19th to the 27th of April. They’ll be offering mega-exclusive offers daily between 12-6PM with all limited everything UT collections and UT VIP offers frequenting the shop.
