Listen to TOKiMONSTA's Remix of Felix Cartal's "New Scene" (ft. Ofelia)

Vancouver dance cadet Felix Cartal specializes in amped up, 4x4, synth-stabbed smashes of the vocal-lead, electro-house variety, which equates to big business on the dancefloor. "New Scene" was intially released on his Past, Present, Felix EP (out this past August on Dim Mak), but now he's putting out a remix EP purely dedicated to this one song, featuring reworks from TOKiMONSTA, Deorro, Lucky Date & Felix Cartal, and Lazy Rich.

We love LA-based producer and DJ, TOKiMONSTA, hard, and would posit the opinion that her remix stands head and shoulders above the rest. By easing down the pace, chopping the beats, and creating a patina of Purity Ring-recalling flourishes, this Brainfeeder-signed star manages to evoke both hazy euphoria and melancholy.

Sidenote: would you look at this girl. The hair, the shades, the acid trip poncho—everything about TOKiMONSTA is fly as fuck.
