Pale Heads Get Off Their Heads With Some Nasty Aussie Rock Dirge

These Melbourne weirdos are about to release a collection of songs about decapitation and accountancy.

There aren’t too many intelligent bands that write quality songs about decapitation any more. Melbourne’s Pale Heads could be an exception. Featuring members and former members of Batpiss, The Nation Blue, Harmony, Pairs, Bang! Bang! Aids!, The Drones and Right!, the four piece have clocked some musical miles. Actually, if frequent flyer points could be earned playing shitty and dank bars and clubs, Pale Heads should be sunning and decapitating exotic sounding beers in exotic sounding locales right now.

As it is they are about to release their debut album Headless on May 29 via Poison City. Check the video for the title track that they just sent through.

Led by Tom Lyngcoln’s signature coarse and shouty vocal delivery, it’s a shot of darky and dirgey punk rock with an emphasis on the rock.

Pale Heads launch ‘Headless’:
June 6 – Melbourne at the Gasometer
June 13 – Sydney at Blackwire
June 20 – Brisbane at Trainspotters

‘Headless’ is available May 29 through Poison City.
