Listen to Wretch 32 and Avelino Deliver Deep Bars Over Knox Brown's "My Redemption Song"

Birmingham's Knox Brown has produced for Beyonce, Jay Z, and Mary J Blige, and now he's back on a solo tip with the rich, uplifting and The College Dropout-era Kanye beats of "My Redemption Song".

We first profiled Knox Brown back in 2014, a talented young Jamaican-born producer from Birmingham who, in true millennial style, had come to produce music via an early passion for the Playstation game Music 2000. Fast forward to 2016, and he's worked with pop behemoths like Beyonce, Jay Z, Wretch 32, Aloe Blacc, and Mary J Blige. Not a bad journey.

A year and a half on since our chat, he's still not put out much solo material though, mainly because everytime he gets five minutes someone else massive immediately snaps him up, traps him in a studio, and gets him to make something for them. Today is a special day though – finally, we have some fresh Knox to premiere on Noisey, coming in the shape of the rich, uplifting and The College Dropout-era Kanye beats of "My Redemption Song", fire-branded with some rapt bars from Wretch 32 and Avelino.

The track got its first airing on 1Xtra last night, but you can now listen via Noisey below.
