The BPM Festival will return to Mexico's Playa del Carmen from January 8-17, 2016, with more than 375 artists and showcases from the underground electronic scene. Today, the festival announced its phase one lineup, which includes the Drumcode couple Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg; Last Night On Earth boss Sasha; taco-devouring duo and label heads of SCI + TEC and MINUS, Richie Hawtin and Dubfire; friend to all DJs and BBC broadcaster Radio 1, Pete Tong; and the legend who confused Ibiza clubbers waiting for the drop, Maceo Plex.Showcases from clubs and parties like Circo Loco, Rumors, Paradise, Yoshitoshi, Visionquest, Ants, Vatos Locos and their respective leaders are also ready to prove that Playa del Carmen has everything needed to deliver the magic of Ibiza without crossing the continent.As it does every year, The BPM Festival brings together an important female front, with the presence of B.Traits, Nicole Moudaber, Miss Kittin, Maya Jane Coles, Lauren Lane, Kim Ann Foxman, and others.Check out the entire lineup on the BPM Festival official site.
