"More house than tech, more deep than disco."

I don't know if it's something in the water (or in the weed-laced chocolate truffles), but Colorado has been tearing it up recently—and today's mix comes from a Denver-based deep house dude by the name of Option4. His personal manifesto: "more house than tech, more deep than disco," and it's a sharp characterization of the diverse audio-wave he's been riding right into our Soundcloud shores on a regular basis.

Take some velvety deep grooves, a splash of sharp Chicago jack and the warped and re-worked sound of the human voice, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect from this. Option4's expertly crafted tsunami riddims have found a home with labels like Night Supply and Nurvous Records, and soon they'll find a home on your hard drive (if they haven't already). Well enough talking from this boogie board noob—time to paddle out and let Option4 guide your ride. Surftboard!
