Watch Phil Kessel's Grandma Crush Booze out of the Stanley Cup

Kessel has one cool grandma.

It's always fun watching players celebrate a Cup win by drinking out of Lord Stanley's Mug. It's a tradition that will never get old. What's even better is when a grandmother gets in on the action.

In what's shaping up to be the summer of Phil Kessel, the Penguins winger—who silenced naysayers with a strong playoff performance (scoring a team-high 22 points), and won hearts over by bringing the Cup to a children's hospital in Toronto—let his family enjoy a moment with hockey's most prized item.

Thanks to Kessel's aunt, we have video of the Pittsburgh sniper's grandma downing champagne from the Cup with a slew of empty bottles scatted on the lawn next to her. That's some good stuff. Kessel can do no wrong right now.

We can only hope some more video of Kessel's eventful 24 hours with the Cup emerges.
