There isn't much left to say about conservative Rod Ford, the leader of Canada's biggest city. The man will forever be known as "the crack-smoking mayor," and nothing could be more deserving of a man who, well, smokes crack whilst sitting as mayor. There was his excuse—that he did it during a "drunken stupor"—and the laundry list of inebriated misbehavior, which included, but was not limited to, very public urination.

There were the more disturbing allegations of criminal conspiracy—frequent Motherboard contributor Patrick McGuire revealed that Ford's office had apparently tried to hire hackers to erase the digital evidence of the crack incident. Finally, there were the drunken threats of violent crime, recorded and released on video for the whole world to see. Yes, this walking catastrophe of a man is stuffing Toronto's credibility into a crusty old pipe and smoking it. As long as Ford is in office, the city's future is bleak.
