New Jersey-based producer Junior Sanchez has just released his remix of Rhye's "3 Days" as a free download. Under the alias IMIURU (pronounced: I Am I, You Are You), Sanchez has taken the sultry single by Rhye and flipped it into a smooth-as-silk house roller backed up by the smooth vocals of Rhye's Michael Milosh.

Sanchez is a veteran producer associated with New York's underground dance scene in the 90s; he was a member of one of the greatest DJ collectives of all time, Da Mongoloids, which also included Armand Van Helden, Daft Punk, DJ Sneak, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Ian Pooley, Laidback Luke, Basement Jaxx and The Rhythm Masters. Sanchez also released the likes of Felix Da Housecat and DJ Sneak under his Cube Recordings label, and now operates the Brobot Records imprint under Steve Angello's SIZE.

Now he's teaming up with R&B duo Rhye, a powerhouse project by Canadian vocalist and electronic musician Michael Milosh and Danish producer Robin Hannibal, who released their debut album Woman in 2013. On working on the duo's track, Junior had this to say: "Remixing Rhye's '3 Days' was an absolute dream remix. This song was already beautiful and perfect, all I wanted was to keep its integrity while adding something even more timeless to an already timeless song."
