Arnold’s Remix of Deebs & Jarell Perry Hits “Home”

The latest piece of content from Shift—a collaborative effort between Toronto producer Deebs and L.A. vocalist Jarell Perry—gets a gritty remix from producer Arnold.

His take on the track, "Home," features hard chord progressions and rapid fire snares built on the electro R&B of the original. Arnold, a member of the WEDIDIT music collective, alongside RL GRIME and Ryan Hemsworth, also showcases dark club beats, balanced with the romantic sounds of Perry's vocals—slowly building to a fever pitch.

Deebs and Perry first released their collaboration, Shift, a hypnotic five-track EP, on Kompakt and Time No Place Records earlier this year.

Deebs, aka William Diebel, began producing in 2008 and launched his impressive Songs4UByMe EP last year, while Perry turned out 2014's White EP and toured with singer-songwriter Yuna.
