Video: Citizen & Joe Ashworth - "Situation"

I grew up hearing stories from my older friends about the New York house scene and its glorious nightclubs riddled with springloaded bouncing furniture, affordable narcotics and wacky club kids named Angel, or Sprocket, or like, Sample Tits, i'm guessing. So I was more than a little disappointed my first few times out in Manhattan—"What do you mean you need to take a photo of my passport? And more importantly, what are those latex gloves for?"

Manhattan may have lost its edge over the years, but the rhythms that jacked in clubs like Sound Factory and the Paradise Garage during the 80s and 90s always find a way back to the dancefloor. This week, London's Citizen teams up with Joe Ashworth on Waze and Odyssey's Street Tracks label, bringing it back to jack with the premiere of "Situation."
