Video artist Gero Doll, also known as Limbicnation, is known for his fantastically tumultuous digital worlds. His new short film, FUTUREBIRDS, is a journey into the "controversial future predictions on our environment and species" from the perspective of an "infected" bird. As vibrating Coke cans collide with floating heads and rainbow landscapes churn out skeletal trees, a soundscape created by Olivier Girardot perpetuates an anxiety-inducing feeling that seems to foretell our imminent demise. Doll further clarifies on his Twitter, explaining that FUTUREBIRDS is an "emotional chaotic art film on war, brands and empires."
