A few weeks ago, The Creators Project premiered a short film from music maestros Danger Mouse and James Mercer, aka Broken Bells. The video, titled After The Disco, Part One: Angel And The Fool, now has a sequel, continuing the story of Oliver (Star Trek's Anton Yelchin) and Helen (House of Cards' Kate Mara) after slipping into a dreamy space-scape.Directed by Jacob Gentry and produced by POPfilms in conjunction with The Creators Project, part two follows the star-crossed lovers as they enter a space ship (after by-passing totalitarian security guards, played by none other than the band itself).
Once inside the starcraft, things get a bit more psychedelic, including a party with some space helmet fishbowling. We won't spoil the ending, but let's say there's an Olympus Mons-sized cliffhanger. Watch the film above, and re-visit part one below.
After The Disco, the new album from Broken Bells, is out January 14th on Columbia Records.
