Zlatan Scores Two Goals in Second EPL Game, MU Might Be Scary Again

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's superlative ways seemed impermeable in the worlds of Ligue 1 and Serie A, but surely the hype-destroying EPL would get you.

Oh, Zlatan. Your superlative ways seemed impermeable in the worlds of Ligue 1 and Serie A, but surely the hype-destroying EPL—with its tabloids and ludicrously high expectations—would finally dismantle your 34-year-old self, right? Well, seemingly not.

In today's Manchester United match against Sunderland, Ibrahimovic has slotted not one but two goals on the day: the header above and later a PK. (Already letting him take PKs, eh, Mourinho? I see you.) That makes three goals in two matches.

On July 30th, Ibrahimovic came into his first non-competitive game with Manchester United and wreaked havoc with a beautiful aerial goal. Mourinho had this to say about it:

That list is about to get longer, Jose. A lot longer.
