Some people are blessed with singing voices that literally feel like a balm. Enter: Jorja Smith, whose voice sounds like putting your head on a really soft pillow, or moisturising your hands with a really high quality cream. Her appearance on last night's (Tuesday 26 September) episode of Later… with Jools Holland was, happily, no different.She showed up to perform her single "Blue Lights" and gave the kind of effortless performance that you might expect from a vocalist years into her career. It's glossy and professional, and it's actually kind of dizzying to think about what she might achieve in her career to come.
