Putin Denies Election Meddling, Accuses US of Interference
President Vladimir Putin has once again denied Russia interfered in the US presidential election, and dismissed the idea he had compromising information on President Trump as "another load of nonsense." In an interview with Megyn Kelly on the former FOX News host's new NBC show, Putin said, "Put your finger anywhere on a map of the world, and everywhere you will hear complaints that American officials are interfering in internal electoral processes."—NBC News

Police Arrest 14 after Clashes at Portland Protest
Police arrested 14 people in downtown Portland Sunday as thousands of protesters gathered at a counter-demonstration against those taking part in a pro-Trump "free speech" rally organized by the Patriot Prayer group. Officers used flash-bang grenades and "pepper balls" to break up crowds of demonstrators. Police claimed some protesters had knives, bricks, and other weapons.—AP

Oculus Founder Planning Illegal Immigrant Tracker, Report Says
The founder of Oculus VR Palmer Luckey has reportedly been working on a "virtual border wall," the idea being to use cameras and digital sensors to track people coming into the US illegally. Luckey left Oculus VR, now owned by Facebook, back in March. Anonymous sources said pro-Trump libertarian billionaire Peter Thiel plans on financing Luckey's latest project.—The New York Times

Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Trial Begins
Bill Cosby is on trial in Pennsylvania Monday, accused of drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand in 2004. The jury will be sequestered from their homes in Pittsburgh, and cameras will not be allowed inside in a bid to avoid an OJ Simpson–style "media frenzy."—VICE

Four Regional Powers Cut Ties to Qatar
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Egypt have all cut diplomatic ties with Qatar, claiming their neighbor has supported violent militant groups. The three Gulf states will ax transport links with Qatar, and Qataris have two weeks to leave those countries. Saudi Arabia said Qatar "promotes the message" of the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, and al Qaeda, according to Saudi news agency SPA.—Reuters

Police Identify London Attackers
The Metropolitan Police claim they know the identities of the three men behind Saturday's terrorist attack in London, in which seven were killed and 48 were injured. The attackers hit pedestrians with a van and stabbed people before they were fatally shot by officers. The names will be made public "as soon as operationally possible." Police have arrested at least 11 people in connection with the attacks.—BBC News

Iraqi Fighters Retake Another Town from ISIS
The town of Baaj has been reclaimed from the Islamic State in Iraq. The Popular Mobilization Front, comprised largely of paramilitary Shiite militia fighters tied to Iran, said the Iraqi flag had been hoisted there after "total liberation." The withdrawal of ISIS fighters leaves the terrorist group in control of only two major urban areas in Iraq: western Mosul and Bukamal.—The Guardian

North Korea Rejects Anti-Malaria Supplies, Says NGO
A NGO in South Korea that tried to donate anti-malaria insecticides, mosquito repellant, and other supplies to North Korea said the country rejected its offer. The Korean Sharing Movement, based in Seoul, has been trying to foster cross-border ties. According to the group, North Korea said it would not allow a supply visit because the South had vowed to implement new UN sanctions.—AP
