GIRLI and Lethal Bizzle, Deeply Unlikely Duo, Just Made a Pop Banger

"Feel OK" is produced by Diztortion, which in part explains why it sounds exactly like a rush of blood to the head and has a chorus approximately the size of Brazil.

Usually, pop songs are about one of three defined things: heartbreak, friendship, or being so stupidly in love you can't even assemble a bowl of Cornflakes without staring blissfully off into the middle distance and spilling milk all over the units – but sometimes relationships don't fit into those categories. Sometimes you care about someone as a pal, but you also fancy them a bit, but do you actually though? What do you mean to them? What do they mean to you? Who are you in the larger scheme of the world and what even is the purpose of your existence?

A new track from the most unlikely of iconic duos, GIRLI and – drum roll – Lethal Bizzle (!), is about precisely this state of flux. Taken from her new EP of the same name, "Feel OK" is an open-hearted pop banger that takes all those messy feelings and boils them down into a simple sentiment about being there for someone. It's also produced by Diztortion (who's worked with Tinie Tempah, Stylo G, Sigma, all the lads), which partly explains why it sounds exactly like a rush of blood to the head and has a chorus approximately the size of Brazil.

If you're wondering how on earth this collaboration came about, apparently Diztortion accidentally pressed play on the wrong record while in the studio with Lethal Bizzle and Bizzle was all like – and I'm paraphrasing here – "get me on it!".
