Movement Reveals Official Stage Lineups

Each of the Detroit festival's five stages have announced their headliners, which include Boys Noize, Claude Von Stroke, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, and more.

The day has finally come for Movement to roll out the stage lineups for this year's festival, which takes place from May 24-26 at Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit. The Motor City's annual Memorial Day bash features over 115 acts spread across five stages, and the event organizers at Paxahau also announce the addition of a new arena called the Silent Disco.

The RBMA Main Stage headliners include Underground Resistance's live act, Timeline, progressive house don Carl Cox, and returning champion Richie Hawtin, while the Made In Detroit and Underground stages will continue their respective booking traditions—the former will host performances from locally-bred talents, and the latter will welcome "the most massive assembly of pure techno in North America," according to a press release. Beatport has also stacked up a massive lineup that includes Dirtybird honcho Claude Von Stroke, BBC legend Pete Tong, German electro stalwart Boys Noize, and Turbo label boss Tiga, among others. And last, but not least, is the Moog Music roster, which boasts bass cadets like Baauer and DJ Snake as well as hip-hop kingpins like Just Blaze and Action Bronson.

We've also got word that Movement has coordinated a new stage, the Silent Disco, but so far no specific acts are booked to appear there. Instead, Movement is hosting a contest to award one festivalgoer and the opportunity to rock the stage. Although we don't yet have any further information about how to enter the Silent Disco contest, we do know that tickets for the three-day blowout are on sale now and available via Movement's website. After you cop a pass, make sure to pump up with the trailer video, which you can peep below.
