Hey, you know you're not contractually obligated to be raging at 100% all the time, right? Here's something for those nights between festivals, courtesy of sexual-dairy-peddler-turned-chef Kelis.

Kelis' new album Food, released on Ninja Tune and produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, finds the Harlem-raised performer exploring rangy sonic territory with real success.

Her track "Bless the Telephone" is a cover of Labi Siffre's heartwarming 1971 folk-pop ditty. This chill-as-fuhh remix comes courtesy of Trinidad-Senolia, a duo consisting of essential KCRW selector Garth Trinidad and polymath Mateo Senolia.
