Ray Lewis's Son Turns Himself in for Sexual Assault

Ray Lewis's son has been accused of sexually assaulting an incapacitated 18-year-old.

Ray Lewis III, the 20-year-old son of former Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, turned himself in on third-degree charges of criminal sexual conduct in Conway, South Carolina, earlier today. Lewis III is a sophomore cornerback at Coastal Carolina University after transferring from his father's alma mater, the University of Miami.

The charges arise out of a local hospital report from January 23, when two victims alleged he sexually assaulted them in an apartment across the street from CCU campus.

Medical reports, victim statements, witness statements, and lab statements were presented to the solicitor's office, and warrants were obtained for 20-year-old Ray Lewis III.
The arrest warrant alleges that Lewis did engage in sexual battery with an 18-year-old female with the knowledge that the victim was incapacitated and/or physically helpless from the use of drugs and/or alcohol.

Lewis III was booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center just before 10:00 AM this morning and released approximately 90 minutes later on $10,000 bond. After playing in all 12 games for the Chanticleers last season, he has been suspended indefinitely.
