Rained-Out College Baseball Teams Settle Score with Intense Game of Rock-Paper-Scissors

Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana-Monroe were rained out last night, but that doesn't mean there wasn't a competition. There was a huge rock-paper-scissors battle at home plate.

Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana-Monroe were set to reignite the hyphenated-Louisiana rivalry last night, but mother nature threw a monkey wrench into the works. The game was delayed and eventually postponed—with a double header scheduled today—due to rain, but once those competitive juices start flowing, the thirst must be slaked.

In something reminiscent of an 80s teen dramedy, or a commercial for Simon, the sides gathered around home plate to engage in a very emotional game of rochambeau. Everything about this is great, the reactions to each successive win, the music, and the dude screaming "It's all mental!" make this an all-time great college baseball rain delay diversion. Louisiana-Lafayette won the match, and man, did it mean a lot to them.
