Montréal-via-London producer Deadboy has shared a shimmering new track off his forthcoming Columns EP. "Glass Lake," which THUMP is thrilled to premiere today, finds the producer pairing a vintage house rhythm section with cascading, delayed arpeggios to evoke a radiant sense of placidity.

He told THUMP about the production process via email. "I made Columns when was staying at my parents, who live deep in the Kent countryside," he said. "'Glass Lake' was written after I took a walk around a reservoir on a really sunny day, and the water was so still and clear and looked like glass. I was listening to a 5 hour long DJ Sotofett mix, and came back to the studio and just tried to channel the experience into a track."

Columns will be released via UK imprint Ten Thousand Yen on November 18 on vinyl and digital formats; it is currently available for pre-order.
