This week, VICE on HBO headed to Michigan to investigate the charter school movement and took a hard look at the unfolding crisis in the Central African Republic, where at least 14 rebel groups have seized control of 75% of the country.School choice is an education reform movement that promotes charter schools and voucher programs as alternatives to traditional public schools. One of the biggest advocates for "choice" over the past two decades, Betsy DeVos, is now serving as President Trump's secretary of education.
