If the closest you came to a musical standoff growing up was one of those slightly half-assed, 'everyone make a circle around two awkward middle schoolers' dance-offs, then you can consider the Jamaican soundsystem clash the pinnacle of the form. Those clashes been going for decades, setting the standard for music battles of various forms, all the while practically flattening the eardrums of spectators gathered to pick a singular winner.

Londoners know well how Culture Clash grew from a 2010 party to an event big enough to fill the capital's massive O2 Arena. And in recent years, Jamaica's influence has spread the culture clash even further, with Red Bull (they're everywhere, aren't they?) hosting events from Johannesburg to Milan. This year, Culture Clash landed in Atlanta, pitting teams against each other on Friday 25 August: Wondagurl vs Mike WiLL Made-It vs Tinie Tempah vs Unruly (stepping in for Popcaan).

We've been out with the Disturbing London label crew on their way to ATL with Tinie (keep an eye out for a piece on that soon) but in the meantime, you can catch up on Friday night's battle on the Red Bull Radio player below. Tune in from 1PM ET/6PM BST, close your eyes and you'll *almost* be there.
