Upgrade Your Sangria With Summer Berries and Peaches

A sangria to beat all other sangrias.

Sure, you can make a boring, pedestrian, run-of-the-mill sangria. Just add some apples, oranges, and lemons to a subpar bottle of white zinfandel or whatever have you.

Or, you can make an upgraded sangria—just as easily, we promise—by taking a little bit of this advice. Why not use the fruits that are in season during, well, sangria season? Barcelona-born Angel Zapata Martin of Barrafina, the tapas bars in London, is just the man to show you how it's done.

RECIPE: Easy Red Wine Sangria

Blackberries, raspberries, and peaches are abundant and delicious just when you most want to drink sangria. Throw them into a pitcher with a few special touches—namely, agave syrup and a vanilla pod—and you'll soon be drinking the best sangria you've ever tasted.

Salud! You'll never go back to drinking lazy sangria again.
