Three Sexual Assaults Reported at Australia's Falls Music Festival

The sexual assault charges come just days after a stampede on the first day of the festival.

Tasmania police are investigating three sexual assault complaints from this weekend's Falls Arts and Music Festival in Australia.

According to reports from The New Daily, two of the three assaults occurred in a mosh pit area of the festival. The third incident reportedly took place in the festival's camp grounds.

The assaults occurred during the first two days of the festival. In response to the assaults, police put extra security measures in place for the mosh pit area, reports The Australian. Police are currently looking for witnesses or people with information about any of the events.

The holiday weekend proved to be especially troubling for guests at the music festival. More than 60 people were injured during a stampede on the first day of the festival. Nineteen of the injured were reportedly taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
