Last fall, the two bass bandits known collectively as Zeds Dead roared across the USA on their Altered States tour, leaving a trail of melted faces and sold-out venues in their wake. We were there the whole time, lurking with our cameras rolling while the two Canadian buddies enjoyed a little bit of downtime hitting tourist hotspots, relaxing over coffee, and chatting with other celebs they met on tour. Thus, Coffee Breaks was born.

On this edition of Coffee Breaks we see Zeds Deads invade the streets of Boston with a gig at the iconic House of Blues, plus a backstage chat with another iconic figure, the rave yoda Tommie Sunshine. Check out this inter-generational EDM convo, which touches on the evolving role of the DJ, the shifting terrain of the music industry, and the resilience of the shirtless tuxedo look through multiple decades of rave culture. Sit down and pour yourself a cup.
