Over the past few months, we've gotten to know Brooklyn-based DJ Ayres pretty well—for instance, we know he's a great chef and a sensual man. We're also aware that he's a big fan of Baltimore Club, a style of fast, loose, and dirty dance music that spread from Bmore mixtapes to the Tri-Cities and beyond, so we hooked him up with one of the pioneers of the genre: DJ Technics. The pair headed to the East Village record shop Turntable Lab and sat down to chat about the days when Baltimore Club tracks inspired girls to get naked in nightclubs and the future of the sound.
