Listen to a Piano-Heavy Cut from Felix Dickisnon's Disco Collective, Dedication

The reissue of "Let Me Rock You" rolls out courtesy of Claremont 56.

It turns out we've got a bit of a thing for Felix Dickinson here at THUMP. Whenever the curly-haired disco dude hovers into view and drops off a clubby care package, we tuck into it with what can only be described as "gusto."

You might remember that a few months back we took you on a virtual tour of a no-longer-with-us New York night spot that served up fantastic musical accompaniment to its allegedly fantastic pasta: La Mangiami!

You'll also remember that the reason we found ourselves writing about the restaurant where DJ Harvey and co served up meatballs and garlic bread to disco-hungry hedonists, was that Golf Channel were putting out a compilation of riotously low-slung, chugging rollers. One of those riotously low-slung, chugging rollers was "Let Me Rock You" by Dedication, AKA the ongoing collaboration of Japanese musicians and Western singers brought together by producer and DJ Felix Dickinson and Japanese artist Mikey Yamada.

A piano-heavy cosmic number that rolls on and on into the most gorgeous reaches of the infinite, it's getting a re-release on Paul Murphy's incredible Claremont 56 label later this month. You don't have to wait till the 17th to hear it though, because, look, look down there, you can stream it here! Right now! Do it! Stream, stream, stream!
