The Sandwich Show: Max's Korean Sarnie

Sandwich shop owner Max Halley is travelling Britain to find inspiration for a new sarnie to put on his menu. In the first episode of The Sandwich Show, we visit London's Korea Town.

It doesn't take much to make a sandwich—all it really comes down to is putting stuff between two slices of bread. And yet the dish has become staple of British food culture, from cack-handedly delicious crisp-and-ketchup sandwiches to the "posh" sarnies sold by high street food outlets.

As a lover of the sandwich and curious chef, sandwich shop owner Max Halley is travelling the UK to find inspiration for a new sandwich to put on his menu.

In the first episode of The Sandwich Show, he visits New Malden, home to London's largest Korean expat community.
