Over the years Photoshop has become integrated into most people's lives, not just photographers and designers but anyone who wants to alter an image or create a meme or put their head on their pet's body. In the blink-and-you'll-miss-it animation above Barcelona-based design studio Device pay homage to the filters that come with the software, showing their effects on the Photoshop logo.Some of them are pretty insane and seizure inducing, so be warned. Device explain their inspiration:"Photoshop Cs5 Filters Animation" is a small tribute to Photoshop filters. We used the Ps logo and systematically applied the filters in the same way, seeking the essence of the software, exploring the aesthetic values of its resources but letting the spectator judge them.They also applied a sound element in the video using the same sound for the various filters but distorting it differently for each one. As well as the video above, they also created a Tumblr page where you can find all the effects from the vid in handy GIF form. You can check out some of them below.
