Young Thug, Giggs and Mike Skinner Are the Latest Reasons to Get a Fresh Island Ticket

If you've not got one already, and you like sunshine and rap, what are you doing m8?

You can practically smell summer on the way. We're getting to that stage, in the south of England at least, where the sky greets you with a confident, busting-past-your-curtains hello and not the watery whimper of cloud cover that barely seems to shift after sunrise. If one of the only virtues of putting up with winter as the long season is watching it melt into spring, then the summer festival becomes the exclamation mark that punctuates the end of that wait. It's the lightly sweet sunscreen smell clinging to your clothes at the end of the day. It's the sense that every new morning might lead you somewhere you've not been before.

In this case, it's Fresh Island. We've already let you know that this year's edition of the hip-hop, grime and rap festival in Pag, Croatia is due to host Sean Paul, Rae Sremmurd, Lady Leshurr, Krept and Konan and actual DJ Jazzy Jeff from 11 to 13 July. Now, we can announce that you'll also be able to see Giggs, Thugger, Mike Skinner and Murkage Dave's TONGA project and Maya Jama. TONGA will be joining Lady Leshurr at the Noisey Stage, at Kalypso, so please don't for a moment think that this will be a mellow and relaxing time. Come prepared.

Early bird tickets for £92 are all gone now, but you can still get general admission ones for about £110 (€129) or go for that VIP life, if you're so inclined, with options starting in the £255 (€299) range.
