On Monday morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced its film and TV nominees for the 2017 Golden Globes.

The Damien Chazelle–directed musical La La Land looks like the star of the ceremony this year, pulling in a whopping seven nominations, including best director, best actor and actress, and best picture in the comedy/musical category. The gorgeous, intense drama Moonlight was also nominated for six.

Over on the TV side, The People v. OJ Simpson earned the most nominations for a series with five. A handful of new shows also took home nominations, like Atlanta, Stranger Things, The Night Of, and HBO's Westworld.

The Golden Globes award ceremony will air on NBC Sunday, January 8, with Jimmy Fallon as host. Hopefully the whole thing won't be as sloppy and awkward as last year, but only time will tell. Check out a whole list of nominees over at the Golden Globes website.
